Well, here's my third blog. Third times a charm for what?
So the wedding was wonderful! I really like Wendi and my in-laws. We spent some time together over the holidays playing games and visiting, and last night the "girls" went to see Bride Wars, a true Chick Flick. I just hope I can figure out how to add some photos of the good times now.
Life is very hectic. I'm teaching .5 at the school dist. and 2, 5 credit classes at UVU. It helps pay the bills, but my brain really is fried. There is so much organization, preparation and paperwork involved. To top it off, Reading II was cancelled on Tues, and I was assigned an advanced level IV Speaking Listening class. That in itself is ok, but the new class started 2 days later! Not only did I have to throw away hours of organization and work for the reading class, but I had to do it all again for the new class which I had never taught, in 2 days. I am so glad last week is over! All I can say is that I am NOTHING without the Lord's help.
Enough of my complaining. Life really is good! We got a bunch of snow last week and it is just beautiful every day with the sunshine reflecting all the "diamonds" inside. We have 4x4 on "Suzie" and it was used a lot! Johnny had a bad sllliiiippp and really is sore in his neck and back. He'll probably have to return to the chiropractor.
Johnny, Liz and Kristen have started their new college classes, and they all seem to like them. David is working at Gunthers Heating, and has a great job there. John has started playing racketball again, and is still a "buff ole man". Well, lots of love to you all, Julie

Hey, here's our second blog!
Hope all is well with your family. I think the reason I don't keep in touch very well, is because I never feel there is much to say about ourselves. But this week, on the 22nd, Kristen ran in the state Xcountry meet. She feels really good about her running, and this is what she's been hoping for all summer long. The course was hard and hilly, there were a lot of competetive runners with a lot of "elbows thrown". She got to see her cousin Janine there who is a great runner too.
Kristen will turn 18 on Tuesday. I can't believe my baby will be an "adult". I promised to let her ride my scooter around the parking lot on her birthday, and she's not letting me forget it. Look out anyone who's around on Tuesday afternoon!
Dave and Wendi are very much in love, and always smiling. It's fun to see them so happy. There is so much for them to do, but they found a great rent-to-own townhouse near Dave's work. That is one big worry out of the way! I'm busy sewing dresses for Liz, Kristen and myself to wear and John and Johnny got new suits. So it's fun for everyone.
Liz is so busy at school. She did go to a Halloween Dance on Friday as Frankenstein's Bride. She looked great! Lucky Frankenstein. Johnny bought a bunch of white fur and asked me to make him an abominable snowman costume. He has a Yetti hat and blue "Stitch" gloves from Disney World. I'll have to post some pictures of that!
On the 14th we bid on a car at a repo auction. My 94 Camry died in June and John and I have been taking turns with the car and scooter since then. But now, it is COLD in the morning and the scooter isn't an option for about 6 months. Anyway, we got a nice 2001 Suzuki XL7 and are very happy with it. It is an SUV, but still gets 20 mpg in town. The best thing is I am not sitting almost to the ground which is sooooo nice on the knees!
Well, thanks for taking time to read about us. Please comment or keep in touch too!. Love, Julie

KNOCHE FAMILY COMES INTO THE 21ST CENTURY AND LEARNS HOW TO BLOG!
Since listening to conference last week, we have repented of our "in the tortiseshell" attitude, and decided to keep in touch with family and friends better. Hence, we've created a blog, and hope to put more emphasis on what we consider to be the most important thing in life--our special relationships. You are in that category! So here's the first entry.
Dad turned 55 last month, and yet is a Buff Ole Man. He entered a racketball tournament last month, but ended up playing a "young whippersnapper" in the first round. He still did well. He has been attending meetings for ham radio and practicing that every Sunday.
I'm feeling overloaded working .5 at the school district and teaching 2 college classes at UVU. It's the work I love, but it is just too much thinking and remembering for an old lady like me. It will help us buy the new (used) car we need since my beloved '94 Camry died this summer.
Johnny is working at The Pizza Factory in Lindon. He is planning to be the Zetti for Halloween, and has bought a bunch of white fur for the costume. Still no girlfriend, much to mom's dismay.
David on the other hand, has found a wonderful girl, Wendy Larsen, to marry for time and all eternity. They have known each other since 5th grade, but have only been dating since the summer. Their wedding date is November 29th.
Liz is studying so hard at UVU, trying to get into the Nursing Program. I admire her so much for her diligence, and yet she finds time to help out everyone. She's the Relief Society President in her BYU ward. (Relief Society is the largest women's organization in the world). It is a great experience for her.
Kristen went to Homecoming a couple of weeks ago with a friend, yes, just a friend she says. She had a fun time, and looked very pretty. She's probably most excited about her regional track meet yesterday. She ran the 5k and had her best time. Her team made it to State which will be held in a couple of weeks. Wish her luck!
I guess that's what's happening here. We do love you even though our correspondence isn't indicative of that truth. But now that we've learned how to blog, things may improve. We may even learn how to play an mp3 player next! What's the world coming to!
